Atal Innovation Mission collaborates with CIPS for innovations in public systems

The Atal Innovation Mission, Center for Innovation in Public Systems (CIPS) and NITI Aayog recently announced cooperation to strengthen India's entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.

• To promote innovation in the public sector, CIPS and Atal Innovation Mission signed a statement. This will be achieved with the help of the knowledge and experience of AIM and CIPS.
  
  
• CIPS and AIM will organize roundtable meetings involving local level administration officials. This will create awareness about innovative products and solutions.
  
  
• They will host e-exhibitions supported by relevant startups. This will showcase their innovations.
  
  
• An innovative Learning Management System will be created. This will ensure the capacity building of teachers and mentors at the grassroots level.

Center for Innovation in Public Systems

It is an autonomous center for the Administrative Staff College of India. It was established in 2010 by the Government of India. It was found based on the recommendation made by the Thirteenth Finance Commission for 2010–15. The Finance Commission also suggested the release of a grant of Rs 20 crore to establish the Center for Innovation in Public Systems.
