Appointment of new President of Confederation of Indian Industry
Lately Sanjeev Bajaj has assumed the charge of the President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the time 2022-23. He's the Chairman of Bajaj Finserv Limited. About Sanjeev Bajaj

Haryana government's-Adigham' scheme
Lately, the Haryana government has started there-Adigham' scheme to distribute free tablet bias to the scholars in the state. Under this, tablet bias will be handed to 3 lakh scholars to help them in online education. Still, the government plans to give widgets to five lakh scholars.
This Advance Digital Haryana Initiative of Government with Adoptive Module (Adigham) scheme was launched by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at Maharishi Dayanand University in Rohtak, Haryana. This scheme will give tablet bias to the poor scholars of the state to get access to digital education to become strong and tone-reliant and become global scholars.
This scheme's eligible government academy scholars will be those who have enrolled in class 11th after passing the class 10th board examination. These biases have substantiated adaptive literacy software with pre-loaded content and 2 GB of free data.
Buddha Purnima or Vesak Day-2022
Buddha Purnima is famed on the full moon day of Vaishakh month. Consequently, it was marked on May 16, and Lord Buddha was born on this day. Traditionally celebrated by Buddhists in South Asia and South-East Asia, Tibet and Mongolia, the day is also called Vesak. The day commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and death of Gautama Buddha in Theravada, Tibetan Buddhism and Navayana.
It's the holiest day for millions of Buddhists around the world. Buddha passed away on this day in his eighty times. Buddhists and Hindus worldwide celebrate the birth of Gautam Buddha as the significant jubilee of Buddha Purnima in countries similar as India, Nepal, Bhutan, Burma, Thailand, Tibet, China, Korea, Laos, Vietnam, Mongolia, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka. Buddha had told millions of people with his training of enlightenment, the effect of which continues to the present day. Millions of people around the world follow the instructions of Buddha and commemorate the attainment of culture on the day of Vesak.
International Lighting Day-2022
International Lighting Day is famed every time on May 16. The day marks the anniversary of the first successful operation of the Ray in 1960 by physicist and mastermind Theodor Maiman. About Theodore Maimon
Theodor Harold Maiman was born on July 11, 1927. He was an American mastermind and physical scientist by profession. Mammon is extensively credited with contriving the Ray, and he developed several types of spotlights. At a press conference in Manhattan, Maiman and his employer, the Hughes Aircraft Company, blazoned the Ray on July 7, 1960. Maiman was also granted a patent for his invention.
ISRO successfully tests HS200 for Gaganyaan program
Lately, ISRO has completed the static test of the Manned-Rated Solid Rocket Booster (HS200) for the Gaganyaan program from Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC), Sriharikota. This Mortal-Rated Solid Rocket Booster (HS200) supporter is a mortal-rated interpretation of the proven S200 rocket supporter of the GSLV Mk III satellite launch vehicle, also known as LVM3.

- The Design And Fabrication Of The HS200 Booster Were Completed At Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram, and the Propellant Casting Work SDSC, Sriharikota.
- The HS200 Supporter, Loaded With 203 Tonnes Of Solid Fuel, Was Tested For 135 Seconds.
- The S200 Motor, The First Stage Of The LVM3 Launch Vehicle, Is Intended To Launch 4000 Kg Class Satellites Into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit.
