Stratolaunch sends the world’s biggest plane on second test flight
The world's largest aeroplane manufactured by Stratolaunch recently completed its second test flight from Mohave Air and Space Port in California.
About test flight
- The flight reached an altitude of 4,267 meters during its test flight.
- It achieved a top speed of 320 kilometres per hour.
- The aircraft can carry more than 220 tons of payload.
- The wingspan of this aircraft is 117 meters. It is more than an American football field.
- It is named "Roc". Roc is a large bird commonly described in mythological stories from the Middle East. It is pretty popular with "Sinbad, the Sailor".
- It has a twin-fuselage configuration.
- The fuselage is supported by 12 main landing gear wheels and two nose gear wheels.
